Compliance Department Update
Dear Amegan,
As
you may know, we now require Business Associates who have developed
their own websites to submit their site for approval to the Compliance
Department of Amega Worldwide, Inc. After careful consideration, Amega
has determined that it will not be issuing Compliance Certificates to
Business Associates who have created a Blog website.
Although
Amega will not issue Certificates of Compliance for Blog websites, the
Compliance Department still requires Business Associates to submit them
for approval, as it is imperative to verify the validity of the
information that is being communicated on each site. The Compliance
Department will also continue to monitor those blog sites that are
submitted along with those that are not submitted for violations of the
Amega Policies and Procedures.
Blog
websites usually contain feedback from members, subscribers and in some
cases people who have no affiliation with the site in question. This in
turn, exposes Amega Worldwide, Inc to multiple avenues of liability, as
we cannot prevent those individuals from violating our Policies and
Procedures that were developed with the purpose of maintaining the good
name of Amega, its products and Business Associates.
Amega
Worldwide, Inc will continue to issue Compliance Certificates to
Business Associates who choose to develop their own websites to promote
their business opportunity as long as they are in accordance with the
Amega Worldwide, Inc Policies and Procedures. Amega is also reviewing
its current Policies and Procedures to include this most recent update
change so that Business Associates may reference this at any time.
Compliance Certificates will
be issued at no cost to Business Associates prior to the Amega Launch
Event on Feb 24th-26th, 2011. Any request for approval for the
Compliance Department for Websites, Advertisements, Trade Shows /
Conventions will be charged a nominal fee for processing.
Compliance
will also be monitoring its newly developed Twitter account on a daily
basis. Please be advised that Twitter posts or "Tweets" must also comply
with sections 4.3.10.2 and section 4.8 of the Amega Worldwide, Inc
Policies and Procedures. Any Twitter posts or "Tweets" that violate the
above mentioned sections of Amega Policies and Procedures will result in
disciplinary actions.
